A ChatGPT alternative that does the work
ChatGPT is the best-known AI tool in the world and it is genuinely good at what it does. It answers the person typing into it. The gap most teams hit is that the work is still theirs afterwards: the answer has to be copied somewhere, put into a system, and followed up. There's no new app to learn: if you can send a message, you can work with it.
| Capability | Invellis | ChatGPT |

| It works inside Teams, Outlook and Office, not beside them | Yes. Every app, from day one | Partial. Only what IT turns on |
| Long, open-ended conversations | Yes. In Teams chat, and it remembers where you left off | Yes. What it is built for |

It works where the work is.
A teammate lives in Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and the other tools your team already has open. Nothing is copied out of a chat window and pasted into a system, because the teammate is already in the system. That is a different shape of product from a chat interface, and it is the reason most of the work disappears rather than getting faster.
It has an account, so it owns the job.
An Invellis teammate holds its own Microsoft 365 identity with its own scoped access. You can address it by name, hand it a recurring job, and see in your own audit log what it did. A ChatGPT session belongs to whoever signed in, which is why it helps a person rather than taking something off the team.
We run it. You do not prompt it.
Getting good output from a chat tool is a skill, and it is a skill every person has to learn separately. We set the teammate up for a specific workflow, agree what it has to deliver, and keep it running as the process changes. Nobody on your team has to become good at prompting for the work to get done.
One price, whatever it does.
Invellis is a flat monthly fee per teammate with model usage included, and ordinary business use produces no usage charge. Chat tools are licensed per seat, and anything built on the API is billed by consumption on top. If you have ever had to explain a usage bill to finance, that is the difference.
When ChatGPT is the right answer
We would tell you to stay where you are if:
- You want a thinking tool for individuals: drafting, research, working an idea out. ChatGPT is excellent at that and a teammate is not a replacement for it.
- The work is one-off rather than recurring. A teammate earns its place on something that happens every week, not something you need once.
- Your team is happy prompting and copying results across. If that is working, the cost of changing it is not worth paying.
Most of our customers keep ChatGPT. It answers questions; a teammate does a job.
Questions we get asked
We have ChatGPT Enterprise already. Why add this?
They solve different problems. ChatGPT makes each person faster at their own work. A teammate takes a recurring workflow off the team and owns it end to end, inside the tools the work already lives in. If ChatGPT has already removed the work you were worried about, you do not need us.
Can ChatGPT not connect to our tools now?
Yes, and it can act in them now, not only read them. The difference is whose account it acts under and who starts the work. ChatGPT runs as the person signed in, on a task they kick off. A teammate has its own account and its own scoped access, and runs on its own schedule, so the work happens whether or not anyone remembers to ask.
Is this just ChatGPT with a wrapper?
No. The model is one component. What you are buying is a teammate with its own Microsoft 365 identity and scoped access, deployed and run by us, with agreed success criteria before it goes live and a flat fee with no usage billing.
